Due to the amount of average tasting ciders in Australia, Mountain Goat decided to create 'a real one', one that actually tasted like apples. It gave them the opportunity to craft something different to beer, but adopt the same philosophy. The packaging needed to feel inline with Mountain Goat's brand values, but with a feminine appeal.
The name Two Step was born out of the simple two step process Mountain Goat has to making cider. From this, the Freeform crew and I imagined the kind of orchard Mountain Goat might source its apples from, quite a quirky one. Filled with dancing goats, ninjas and drumming tractors.
